Louise was born in Brooklyn and, with her songwriting parents, Carole King and Gerry Goffin, migrated west and was raised in LA’s Laurel Canyon during an exciting time in music history. As a child, she was immersed in the halcyon days of the emergence of the singer-songwriters’ explosion into pop culture.

Goffin is a singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist & producer. She released her debut album Kid Blue when she was 19, and has gone on to release eight albums with majors and her own independent Majority Of One label. She dueted with her mom on the theme song for the Gilmore Girls and wrote songs for and produced the album, A Holiday Carole for Carole King which was nominated for a Grammy.

Goffin has been releasing songs from her new album, All These Hellos over the past few months in advance of its release including “Let Me In Again” which Pop Matters praised as “…a song and a video, that handily lights a spark in listeners' hearts and yearns to be spun again moments after it's over.”
